With over a decade of teaching, Tana brings heart, joy, and a whole lot of soul to the Radiant community.

What do you find most rewarding about teaching yoga at Radiant?

A torn Achilles is what brought me to hot yoga, but what’s kept me here is the healing—physically, mentally and spiritually. Teaching at Radiant has allowed me to witness the same transformation in others. Guiding students back to themselves, one breath at a time, is the most rewarding part of this journey.

Can you share a memorable teaching experience at Radiant Hot Yoga?

I’ve been teaching at Radiant for over 10 years and the memories are countless. What stands out isn’t a single moment, but a collection of small powerful ones—watching a student find stillness in savasana for the first time or hearing someone say, “I really needed that.” Every class brings its own magic.

How do you incorporate the principles of yoga into your daily life outside the studio?

Yoga isn’t just what happens on the mat. I try to live my practice by staying present, breathing through challenges and leading with compassion. Whether I’m driving, working out, or playing with my grandchildren—mindfulness is my anchor.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering beginning yoga?

Start where you are, not where you think you should be. Yoga is a lifelong journey, not a destination.

Be patient with yourself, listen to your body and let your practice unfold naturally. There’s no rush—just breathe.

How has the community at Radiant Hot Yoga influenced your teaching and your personal life?

The Community at RHY is what first inspired me to teach. The teachers, students, the energy—it’s all deeply uplifting. I’m constantly learning and growing because of the people around me. It feels like family and it’s shaped me both as a teacher and as a person.

What do you feel is your soul’s calling, and how does teaching at Radiant Hot Yoga fulfill this?

Teaching has always been in my soul. Even as a child, I felt drawn to share knowledge and uplift others. While yoga was a new path for me, it felt like a natural extension of that calling. Radiant has given me a way of serving others—and I’m loving every moment of it.
