TEACHERS

TEACH & INSPIRE

Raised by an Apache Indian Medicine Father and a spiritual healer Mother, Darlene has always had a deep spiritual foundation and awareness… but she lost sight of it for many years. Life’s painful circumstances ate at her soul. It was her yoga practice that brought it all back together, brought her back to her roots, healed her heart, her mind, and reminded her of who she was born to be. Yoga has been so completely transformational for Darlene that she knows it is her life’s work to share it. As owner of Radiant Hot Yoga and teacher her vision and passion is to heal and inspire people to reach their potential.

Born and raised in Southern California, Cami has always had a passion for dance and an active lifestyle. She has a BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona & a MA in Dance from Long Beach State. She continues to inspire the younger generation through teaching dance for the last 20 years, most recently at Corona del Mar High School. She decided to take the yoga position this year at Back Bay High School in Costa Mesa to further spread the yoga love. When Cami isn’t teaching, she can most often be found upside-down in a Yoga class or Sculpting it out!

Hector started practicing yoga for more of the physical workout and to aid in rehabilitating sports injuries. I initially decided to participate in the Yoga Teacher training to deepen my practice also wanting to find out more about myself. This life changing experience was also more about “where” can this take me by accepting myself as I am. I quickly decided that I wanted to teach and that if I could help one person feel rejuvenated, more centered, more self love, then it will be completely worth.

Skyler has been practicing yoga since she was 6 years old. She became the youngest certified hot yoga instructor in 2013, at 14 years old. She has taught over 3,000 hours of yoga and travels around the world yearly hosting yoga retreats. She believes that yoga truly heals the mind, body, & heart; no matter what you have been through. Her goal is to connect with your heart and soul, and remind you that life is a beautiful gift to be cherished. Skyler is incredibly honored to be able to lead, inspire, heal, and help others on their journey. Her entire life is devoted to teaching yoga; She lives and breathes it.

Joanne T. (“JoJo”) is an inaugural member of Radiant Hot Yoga, practicing consistently each week since 2013. In Fall of 2017, she completed Radiant’s 200-hour teacher training program and immediately started teaching weekly Radiant Hot Power classes. JoJo is a Physical Therapist by profession and has been teaching dance fitness / zumba for more than ten years. In 2018, Jojo & Radiant developed a signature class called “Radiant Hot Bounce” which fuses both her love and skill for the Radiant sequence and her dance ability.

Savanna has been practicing yoga since she was 5 years old and started teaching in 2016. She absolutely loves yoga; for her yoga creates a mind, body, soul connection, and always helps her to be in the present moment. Teaching yoga is a big passion of hers. Teaching is one thing she knows and want to do for the rest of her life. Yoga has taught her the “it is not how many times you fall, but how fast you get back up” mentality.

For well over ten years, Lisa was drawn to the practice of hot yoga to help her work through injuries and allow her to continue other workouts she enjoyed regularly such as weight-lifting and running. It wasn’t until she walked through the doors of Radiant Hot Yoga that she began to view yoga as everything she needed. She knows firsthand the true benefits yoga can bring.

Ashley has a BS in Communications with an Emphasis in Sales & Marketing and has worked in the corporate sector for the past 8 years. “Yoga is the journey of the self, to the self, through the self” Ashley has a fun loving, high-energy personality, who loves to encourage and cheer her peers and students on.”

Doug originally got introduced to hot yoga 15 years ago and after a couple classes learned that he had a passion and aptitude for it. However many bad life choices led him to quit practicing for nearly a decade. Doug always likes to credit his practice for giving him a new lease on life, suffering from many chronic injuries his physical and mental health had reached a low. Upon rededicating himself to his practice he found the healing properties inherent at Radiant so profound he found himself walking a new path in life combining regular practice, good nutrition and meditation to stay balanced in all the other areas of his life.
