The first week I started at Radiant in 2012, I was skeptical…the second week, I was hooked. I began yoga looking for a workout, and found so much more. It was not long after that Darlene convinced me to join the second round of teacher training. Not only did my practice and love for yoga grow, but also my confidence, community, and friendships. In the hot room I felt surrounded by positivity and encouragement, and the mantra eventually seeped into my daily life. We all have our struggles, addictions and hardships, but yoga provides a community, an outlet, a positive, healthy lifestyle that does not leave much room for any of the negatives.
Nor Cal born and raised, I was slowly drawn south and now have amazing family, friends and home in Orange County. I currently stay at home with my new addition to the family and help my husband occasionally in the restaurant industry. Being a new mom, I still love to practice yoga, and having the opportunity to share it with my baby is beautiful. It is the most incredible bonding time with him, as well as connecting with other families in our community. We get to stretch, sweat and bond in a free space with our babies
