I discovered yoga as a teenager and instantly fell in love with the practice. I had participated in dance and gymnastics in the past, but truly felt at home on my yoga mat. I completed my 200-hour teacher training at Radiant Hot Yoga in 2017 at just twenty years old. I had tried many different studios and styles of yoga but truly found my home at Radiant because of the incredible community, challenging sequence, and genuine, heart-centered teachers.
Yoga makes me my best self – more creative, loving, grounded, and joyful. I believe that through the practice of yoga, we can find the beauty in all things, even the most simple, and be grateful for them. Yoga gives us the tools to clear out the clutter in the mind and find the answers we already have.
My passion for yoga has expanded into a passion for overall wellness and I plan to pursue a career in holistic nutrition along with teaching yoga. I am always seeking to learn more about yoga through reading books on anatomy and philosophy, going to workshops and events, and taking classes from many different styles of yoga. I also plan on completing my 500-hour yoga certification this year.
My goal as a teacher is to create a fun and challenging experience, but most importantly to hold space for my students to connect deeply to themselves and to live in the present moment. I am extremely grateful and honored to share my love of yoga and mindfulness with people from all walks of life by creating a space of joy that invites complete authenticity, a space that nurtures, inspires and renews.
