Born and raised in Southern California, Cami has always had a passion for dance and an active lifestyle. She has a BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona & a MA in Dance from Long Beach State. She continues to inspire the younger generation through teaching dance for the last 20 years, most recently at Corona del Mar High School. She decided to take the yoga position this year at Back Bay High School in Costa Mesa to further spread the yoga love.
It wasn’t until 2012 that she found yoga, and realized that this was what had been missing from her life. Cami finds yoga as a compliment to her dancing, and teaching. It is what keeps her sane, and she enjoys practicing twice a day. Cami has completed her 200-Hour teacher training for Hot Yoga at Radiant Hot Yoga and she has her 200 power training and yoga sculpt training. She has taken this passion into her school district, and spreads her love for yoga through her high school students to better the next generation. She created and wrote the curriculum to get yoga into the Newport Mesa School District. Cami also teaches at Ever Barre Irvine, CorePower Yoga and runs a non-profit that raises money for autism: Halodance4autism.org
When Cami isn’t teaching, she can most often be found upside-down in a Yoga class or Sculpting it out!
