What benefits were you hoping to receive from your yoga practice?

Originally I was hoping to change my body. I was looking for a new physical challenge. I am, I was a runner and broke my ankle about two years ago doing just that. I needed a lower impact form of exercise. I have friends that do yoga so I thought I would give it a try.

Running was hard but gave me that “runners high” however I never imagined that yoga would make me feel 100 fold that feeling in such a different and beautiful way.” – Stacey

How has yoga and your practice exceeded your expectations?

Yoga has humbled me, I thought it was going to be easy. Instead it challenges me. I have gained confidence and strength inside and out. More than anything I am learning to love myself.

I have always put others before my own well being and now I can say I’m creating a better self for everyone involved. My body and mind are transforming.” – Stacey

How has yoga benefitted you off the mat?

I think off the mat the most noticeable thing I see is my outlook on people in general. I have much more patience. I think about everything involved in a situation and a person before I react.” – Stacey

Do you notice a change in your physical, mental, emotional and or spiritual body from a regular yoga practice?

My mind is clear when I’m practicing consistently. I am relaxed, clear and level headed. I crave going and when I miss I can totally feel the difference. So, I go! – Stacey

Have you tried other styles of yoga? What makes Radiant Hot Yoga your preferred place of practice?

I have tried other forms of yoga but hands down radiant is my favorite. I love the heat but the most important thing to me is the love I feel when Im there.

It feels like family. No judgement, just loving sweaty open arms always. I have met so many great people and have made many friendships.” – Stacey

What benefits were you hoping to receive from your yoga practice?

I really didn’t know what to expect when I attended RHY. However, after my wife’s suggestion I tried it for the first time. Purely intending to resolve my back issues from years of water polo and stress from work.

I started going two to three times per week. Noticing that my need for cortisone shots was almost obsolete, my flexibility was better and my body felt more intact. I was surprised how it developed my core muscles.” – Ofer

How has yoga and your practice exceeded your expectations?

Radiant Hot Yoga has exceeded my expectations by consistently challenging me, pushing me further than I ever thought I could push myself. Resulting in my body correcting my poor posture and uneven muscle tone around the areas I had problems, like my back.

Overall, Radiant has gotten me in great shape, I sleep better and feel great.” – Ofer

How has yoga benefitted you off the mat?

Yoga has benefitted me in numerous ways: Relieving my stress from the office, it makes me more conscious of having a healthier diet and it helps me to understand my body a lot better now.” – Jonathan

Do you notice a change in your physical, mental, emotional and or spiritual body from a regular yoga practice?

Yoga has definitely changed my view of my surroundings. I can walk into the studio with issues that need to be resolved and when I leave I can think more clearly. My stress level at work has diminished to the point that my co-workers have made comments.

Physically, I believe I am in the best shape I have been in since my college career in water polo. I never thought I could get back in that type of shape or even come close to it. It’s been great!” – Ofer

Have you tried other styles of yoga? What makes Radiant Hot Yoga your preferred place of practice?

I have tried a few different types of yoga. However, RHY is definitely my favorite. Environment is the key to its success, the studio is extremely clean and the teachers are incredible. RHY has done a great job having a core of top notch teachers and it wouldn’t be the same without them.

This is why at RHY you don’t feel like you are in a typical studio or gym. Everyone at RHY is sincere, professional and respectful. You couldn’t ask more from a yoga studio.” – Ofer
