When did you first start doing yoga?
“Sunday, Feb 16, 2014 (I remember the exact day and class because it changed my life – started coming regularly and haven’t looked back!)” – Juliet Morgan
How has yoga changed your life? (your mood, body, stress level, etc)
“I have been a marathon and ultra trail runner for 15 years and have done a ridiculous number of races (104 and still counting!) simply because I love being outdoors and enjoy a good challenge! Unfortunately the price I pay is having unbelievably tight hips, hamstrings and glutes and prior to Radiant, I had never taken a yoga class in my life.
The difference is remarkable both physically (my hips, shoulders, back, etc. are opening up making it easier to run) and mentally I leave each class with a clear mind because I can’t think of anything else during the class except trying to get from one pose/flow to another!

Why do you think everyone should try hot yoga?
“It offers such a variety of diverse benefits from the physical to the mental to the emotional and just getting through class leaves you with such an amazing feeling of accomplishment and sense that you have just done something so good for yourself that I can’t imagine anyone who’s day or life couldn’t be better with a couple of hot yoga classes each week (and yin yoga too!)” – Juliet Morgan

What advice do you have for new students who want to try hot yoga?
“Just do it!
Don’t think about it, just show up and let the amazing staff and instructors at Radiant get you started. It’s mind over matter – if you make up your mind to do it, then the heat won’t matter and before you know it, you will have sailed through your first class and ready to come back for more!” – Juliet Morgan
What is your favorite posture and why?
“Eagle pose because it feels amazing to wrap your arms and legs around yourself (how often do you get to do that in everyday life!) and then when you squeeze, hold and release, you get this nice rush of blood flow throughout the body (and then you get to do it all over again on the other side!)” – Juliet Morgan
