How Radiant Hot Yoga changed my life... Interview with Stacey
What benefits were you hoping to receive from your yoga practice?
Originally I was hoping to change my body. I was looking for a new physical challenge. I am, I was a runner and broke my ankle about two years ago doing just that. I needed a lower impact form of exercise. I have friends that do yoga so I thought I would give it a try.
Running was hard but gave me that “runners high” however I never imagined that yoga would make me feel 100 fold that feeling in such a different and beautiful way.” – Stacey
How has yoga and your practice exceeded your expectations?
Yoga has humbled me, I thought it was going to be easy. Instead it challenges me. I have gained confidence and strength inside and out. More than anything I am learning to love myself.
I have always put others before my own well being and now I can say I’m creating a better self for everyone involved. My body and mind are transforming.” – Stacey
How has yoga benefitted you off the mat?
I think off the mat the most noticeable thing I see is my outlook on people in general. I have much more patience. I think about everything involved in a situation and a person before I react.” – Stacey
Do you notice a change in your physical, mental, emotional and or spiritual body from a regular yoga practice?
My mind is clear when I’m practicing consistently. I am relaxed, clear and level headed. I crave going and when I miss I can totally feel the difference. So, I go! – Stacey
Have you tried other styles of yoga? What makes Radiant Hot Yoga your preferred place of practice?
I have tried other forms of yoga but hands down radiant is my favorite. I love the heat but the most important thing to me is the love I feel when Im there.
